When we consider environmental, social and governance risks to issuers in our portfolios, reliable, verifiable and evolving data is essential. When looking at climate impact, carbon footprint might be a useful snapshot, but there are more nuanced and forward-looking tools that we believe can better reveal the risks and opportunities in play for debt investors – and that can be tailored to suit individual institutional clients.
